  Ward 4 has always been a part of my life. From making Ward 4 my home, to establishing ties in the community with all the work I have done over the years with local associations, small business owners, and working as a City Police Officer have only further strengthened my passion to serve this community even more. By working together we can solve the issues that you as residents of Ward 4 face every day.

  Ever since I arrived in Calgary 25 years ago, the communities that make up Ward 4 have given me the community support I needed to succeed and prosper. I understand that a large part of my success was because of the kindness and generosity from people in the community, who created the social bridges which united the community, even with all the diverse backgrounds. As Alderman, I will focus on strengthening those same social bridges that helped me to succeed.

  As Alderman, I will push hard for the common sense approach to solving the challenges that face Calgarian’s. I will set in motion policies that will create real solutions for today, not years from now, but for years to come. I will always be the voice that will advocate for more police funding, better solutions to solving traffic congestion, and creating the incentives that small business can use to grow and prosper. While always remembering that fiscal responsibility is more than slogan, it is a way of doing business, and that is the approach I will take to City Council.
