Volunteer

There are many ways to help, and where you can best contribute often depends on what you like to do and when you are available.

Volunteering your most precious commodity – your time – is a two way street. I will endeavour to do the following with all volunteers who give so generously:

• Not waste your time
• Supply you with the tools you need
• Be clear about roles, expectations and time commitments
• Place volunteers in roles they excel at and enjoy
• Keep you informed
• Make it fun!

I invite you to join my team and have identified the following categories and tasks where I know I need the talents and time of hundreds of Calgarians. Check any and all areas that you would like to be involved in. We will be in touch to sign you up to the team as the tasks arise.

Boots on the Street

•  Door knock with either myself or fellow volunteers
•  Deliver brochures on my behalf
•  Secure sign locations and consent

Construction Team

•  Build signs
•  Deliver and place signs
•  Stuff and label envelopes and materials

Party Planners

•  Work on planned events
•  Help create new events
•  Host an event

Conversation Club

•  Conduct phone calls to share information on Sean
•  Host coffee meetings
•  Assist with administrative duties at the campaign office
•  Campaign Ambassador – tell your friends about Sean
•  Election day ‘get out to vote’ calls
•  Reception duties at the campaign office

Collect ‘beans to count’

•  Assist with fundraising efforts
•  Help identify potential donors
•  Make a donation yourself
•  Conduct calls to raise money
