The Growing Spaces Projects & Grants Program directly supports public space improvement ideas in growing communities.

These projects help respond to growth in communities by upgrading public spaces for more people and activity. Submissions for projects that are up to approximately $50,000 can be made by Community Associations (CAs) and Business Improvement Areas (BIAs) in these growing communities.

This program is part of The City of Calgary’s Established Area Growth and Change Strategy (EAGCS), which invests in growing and changing communities to sustain and increase the quality of life for current and future residents and businesses.

Please contact your City Liaison if you have a project idea or want to learn more about the program.

  • For Community Associations, contact your Neighbourhood Partnership Coordinator.
  • For Business Associations, contact your Business Strategist.
