If you are able to attend, the City is hosting a community BBQ on June 21st to celebrate the opening of the Huntington Hills skate park! See you all there!

Date:  June 21, 2016

Place: Huntington Hills Skatepark (Centre St. & 64th Ave NW)

Time:  4-7pm

The first day of summer, Tuesday June 21, is also International Go Skateboarding Day.  To celebrate the opening of the new Huntington Hills skatepark, the communities of Thorncliff and Huntington Hills, in partnership with The City of Calgary, Community Services (Calgary Neighborhoods, Recreation, and  Parks) will host a community bbq, with live music and a skateboard demo with  ‘bowl jam’.

This community driven event will  also welcome local vendors and offer a number of booths for the public to walk around and sample products and learn more about programs offered at The City. Additionally, the community associations will formally cut the ribbon; signifying the Huntington Hills skatepark as open for all Calgarians now and in the future.

On behalf of the community associations of Thorncliff and Huntington Hills, we invite you to join us for this free summer evening event.
