Elections Calgary will host two candidate information sessions (one in-person and one virtual) about what to expect during the 2025 General Election. These sessions are intended for nominated candidates, or those seeking to be nominated, their official agents and campaign team for the offices of mayor, councillor, public and separate school board trustee.
The presentation will provide details about the election process, including:
- voting opportunities,
- the use of the permanent electors register,
- acceptable ID for voters,
- the role of scrutineers,
- ballot counting processes,
- unofficial and official results,
- recount processes, and more.

Session 1: Thurs., Sept. 11
