Community signs, on main roads are allowed if they promote an event. Commercial signs are not unless on private property. Only during an election are campaign signs allowed, but they must follow several rules. For example, cannot be near a bus stop, cannot be within 30m of any intersection, can not be on restricted roadways (Memorial, Crowchild etc) cannot be on school grounds, and if the sign blocks a motorists view, it has to go. If you see an illegal sign you can call 311.
