A feature that many of us appreciate when having to call for service at any of the institutions we subscribe to has launched in Calgary – finally!

Testing of the technology since October 23, resulted in 19,000 call backs, and is now active. This is great for so many Calgarians who use 311 to ask questions or report an issue, but are frustrated that they have to wait on the line for sometimes long periods of time.

Thank you to the IT team at the city for getting this implemented, I know it will make everyone who calls 311 life much more easier.

Sean Chu

Sean Chu arrived in Calgary from Taiwan in 1985 speaking not a word of English, and within 7 years he was a sworn officer with the Calgary Police Service. From that point on Sean worked with the Calgary Police Service as on Officer for 21 years in a number of roles until 2013.
