The Calgary Housing Company (CHC) works towards advancing affordable housing, which helps make life better for vulnerable Calgarians. The CHC manages 560 affordable houses in Ward 4 ranging from various housing portfolios that include rent-geared-to-income (RGI), provincially funded social housing, and self-supported mixed incomes. The CHC also administers Government of Alberta rent supplement programs providing financial support for those who need it most.
