Council voted in favour of a plan to change the zoning policy that governs all development in the city. No zoning will change without Council approval and the public hearing date is set for April 22.

If you want your say on this policy change, click the link to find out more, and how to be a speaker. Reminder, that you only have 5 minutes to speak if you sign up. There is a map showing the zones, and what this means for your community.

I had issues with the proposed amendments, and was one of the three Councillors who voted against it, but it was passed with a 12-3 vote so it is moving ahead. You still have a say in this so let your Ward Councillor know what you think on the changes – good or bad.
