If you know of a group or are part of one that could use some support in capacity building of their group, the city has some funding available.
Funding is available to eligible non-profit organizations for one-time initiatives to strengthen their organizational effectiveness, increase their programs’ impact, and address emerging issues and trends that are impacting Calgarians.
Funds will be administered through the following two focus areas, each with their own eligibility criteria:
- Emerging Social Issuesfor one-time initiatives that address emerging issues and trends that are impacting Calgarians experiencing vulnerabilities.
- Organizational Effectivenessfor one-time organizational initiatives that increase the ability of an organization to meet the needs of Calgarians experiencing vulnerabilities.
The Call for Funding Proposals will be open until March 15, 2023.
