Back by popular demand, Parks Foundation is excited to announce the return of the Embrace the Outdoors Grant Program for 2024/2025!

In partnership with The City of Calgary, the Embrace the Outdoors Grant Program will award non-profit organizations up to $5,000 for outdoor activation projects.

Non-profit organizations will use the Embrace the Outdoors Grant to support capital improvements and enhancements that create free and family-friendly outdoor activities. Projects must be completed by April 30, 2025.

Examples of eligible projects include but are not limited to:

  • Outdoor lighting and furniture
  • Art elements like murals
  • Equipment rental libraries
  • Self-directed scavenger hunts

Grants will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis. Applications are now being accepted!
