The City of Calgary continues to assess the impact of Tuesday morning’s security incident at the Municipal Building. The building will remain closed to the public.
Several services on the third floor of the complex were impacted by water damage as the result of the sprinkler system being triggered by an intruder. The intruder has been arrested by police.

Contingency plans are in place to continue to supply City services until the Municipal Complex is reopened.

It is not expected to be operational until Thursday but Citizens can still apply for Fair Entry online or in person at the Village Square Leisure Centre location where there will be extended hours.
