Today is the National Indigenous Veterans Day, and today we remember and honour those that served in the War of 1812, First World War, Second World Way, Korean War, Afghanistan, and peace missions. Thank you to those who served, who are serving, and to those that did not come home – we will remember.
The first time this day was first obversed was in 1994, and it has now spread across Canada and rightly so.
