I wanted to share these links since my office receives a lot of questions about road conditions when a big snow storm hits, and where the snow plows are. The city has priorities roads when a snow storm hits, first the main roads like Memorial, MacLeod, Crowchild etc, with secondary roads in every community – to keep it simple if a bus drives by your home, you are on a priority route. The city will not plow individual streets or back alleys.
The city keeps a host of interactive maps so that Calgarians can see them all, and when they will be cleared. I will be sharing these and few others this week.
