The city has completed spring clean-up street cleaning program.

Crews picked up over 28,000,000kg of materials from Calgary streets which is the weight equivalent of 2.5 Calgary Towers or 1,600 transit buses. The annual program is now complete, and the city is shifting the focus to summer maintenance including back lane repairs and continued focus on potholes. While the city does give notice a week in advance of all cleaning routes, 25,400 tickets were issued.

If your back lane is somehow missed, please call 311, please be patient as there are tens of thousands of kms of back alleys to be graded and it takes time.
