Getting around

Calgary Transit
Buses, CTrains and On Demand will be operating on a Sunday level of service on Monday, May 20. Find more details on fares, schedules and service changes at calgarytransit.com.

From Saturday, May 18 until Monday, May 20 all downtown stations will be closed – from Sunalta to Bridgeland/Memorial on the Blue Line, and from Sunnyside to 39 Avenue on the Red Line.

7 Avenue will be closed to both train and bus traffic during this time to allow for required maintenance and utility work, so shuttle buses will replace train service through the downtown area, using standard parallel routing along both 6 Avenue and 9 Avenue. Note: buses will replace Blue Line service between Bridgeland/Memorial and Westbrook stations, and there will be a separate Blue Line shuttle for travel to Sunalta Station.

Maps and full route information for this weekend’s bus and CTrain detours can be found at calgarytransit.com/CTrain-service.

Road construction and traffic safety
Visit calgary.ca/trafficinfo for a list of current traffic incidents, road closures and detours. Remember: obey the signs and take your time.

The Calgary Parking Contact Centre and Impound Lot will be closed on Monday, May 20. For more information, please visit Calgary Parking.

Street sweeping
There will be no street sweeping on Monday, May 20.
